El Sergio Arboleda University brings the world to the classrooms. Last May 13th, the Office of International Relations organized the Global Village Fair, which was attended by over thirty representatives of international universities and study abroad agencies.
Griffith University, La Trobe University, the International Cooperation Agency of Japan, Esden Business School, the University of Nebrija , Coventry University, the School of Management and Administration of Barcelona, IED and financial institutions such as Icetex, were among the participants in the fair. This fair aims to bring academic and international exchange programs information to students, staff and alumni.
The Language Center, the Office of Alumni and internships and The Sergista Mission to China also participated in this fair.
The event took place in the main and in the Butterflies plazas,and it also featured an academic event with a speaker form Ireland: Shane O’Neil, Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Queen’s University in Belfast. His speech was about the armed conflict and peace resolution in Northern Ireland.
Cultural and gastronomic activities were held in the Founders plaza and it was conducted by students of the “Catedra Rodrigo Noguera Laborde” from the university, where attendees had the opportunity to taste the most typical dishes from countries like the United States, Iran, Romania, Chile, India, Thailand and Mexico, among others.
The International Relations Office continues to work for the Sergista Community to help them go as far as they want.
