Students from the schools of Politics and International Relations, Law, Communication, Advertising, Economics, Administration and Marketing and all the professionals with a particular interest in learning about the economy that is moving the world, will have the opportunity to live a unique experience in Spain, thanks to the first edition of the Diploma in Collaborative Economy, which will be held at Center of International Excellence, CEISA, from 20 November 20th to 1 December.

This is a current subject that we are learning on the road, because we are living it. It is not something that we can learn in traditional classes, this is learned as a result of the situations that arise with the development of the technology”, commented Carlos Meneses, lead professor of the Diploma in Collaborative Economy at CEISA.

It will be 100 hours of class in which the students will approach topics such as big data analysis, collaborative cities, new economies, open government and electronic administrations, among others, from the hand of important European experts like Valentí Acconcia, Roberto Espinosa and Fernando Castelló.

Albert Cañigueral, who recently visited our University, is another of the invited professors. This expert in collaborative economy, founder of ConsumoColaborativo.com, has also written business models concerning this area, implementing his strategy of adaptation to the collaborative revolution.

The methodology of the seminars includes expository sessions of the professors and lecturers, real case analysis and practical workshops. “It is a fundamental necessity to understand the reality of the collaborative economy and this is the main reason for doing the diploma”, added the professor.

The objective of this diploma is that the students acquire the ability to understand how the digital era is affecting the worldwide economy to create strategies and face these changes.

People from any part of the world can take the diploma, but the bet is that are Latin American students in order to create their own business models based on collaborative economy of each country” said Carlos Meneses.
