As part of the institutional commitment of the Sergio Arboleda University to offer more academic training opportunities to its students and teaching community, the International School of Administration and Marketing – EIAM, with the support of the International Relations Office – ORI, made the cooperation agreement official with St. Petersburg College, one of the best universities in the state of Florida, United States.
This institution, with more than 90 years of history, is recognized for being one of the first of its kind in Florida, the second best university in the state (FSC) and recently, one of the top ranked schools in the list of the most outstanding online programs of 2021 by US News & World Report. Benefits that, from now on the Sergistas will be able to enjoy, thanks to the alliance forged between both institutions.
The agreement was reached, after several meetings to explore, understand and align the expectations and objectives. According to Santiago Alzate Cotes, associate dean of EIAM “Sergio Arboleda University was chosen among a select group of universities in Latin America”.
In this way, La Sergio wants to strengthen the exchange of students and teachers from the EIAM, promoting the participation in bilateral and multilateral projects and programs and exchanging study plans, publications and another educational materials.
“Internationalization is a fundamental pillar of our institution and, based on this, the creation of international agreements, allows to enhance other possibilities for students and teachers to carry out internships, exchanges and participate in face to face and virtual projects”, added Santiago.
For those who wish to apply, among other requirements, they must be active students from the EIAM, have a good level of English and, especially, great interest in taking advantage of the benefits of this new agreement.
