Diana and her team obtained the first place to represent the Francisco de Vitoria University in the final phase, in which they won with an idea focused on creativity, football and pizza.

“The concept of our campaign was ‘eat and shut up’ and it came about because we had to take into account the “togetherness” or the concept spend more time together, of Telepizza with the Genuine Football League. We decided to focus on the insults that are present in football and disappear them through a slice of pizza, that’s why ‘eat and shut up’”, explains Diana Lorena Martínez.

The contest Telepizza Excellence Lab, organized by the Spanish company Telepizza, with stores and franchises in more than 20 countries, aims to promote creativity among young university students of programs such as Advertising and Marketing in universities of Madrid. The students put themselves un the place of an advertising agency, they receive a real case and they share a subject to make a proposal and present it to the company.

With initiatives like this, the Spanish company, a pioneer in the delivery of pizza at home, aims to bring the professional industry to the academy so that, in this way, young people internalize skills that they must demonstrate outside the classroom, as well as the possibility of publicizing their work to representatives of the sector.

A brief or a specific challenge tests their capacity of exploring the major leagues of the workplace in campaigns that lead advertising agencies around the world, so it is importunate to take into account the implications of these interesting brand strategies.

“In the campaign we had into account all the media and, more than a spot, we thought about the consumer’s own experience. It was a complex process but, for the same reason, it meant an excellent opportunity both in my life and in my exchange”, says Diana Lorena.

The student, who returns to study her next semester at La Sergio, has great expectations for her career and is convinced that what she learned in this international experience will greatly contribute to her professional profile and future projects.
