An agreement between the Asociación Colombiana de Universidades (ASCUN) and the Conference of Rectors and Principals of Quebec Universities (CREPUQ) allow the students of Sergio Arboleda University to carry out an international exchange during six months in an institution in Quebec, Canada.

Spanish version

From this semester, the students of Sergio Arboleda University can apply to the Programme D’Échanges Éstudiants (PÉÉ) of the Bureau de Coopération Interuniversitaire (BCI), an exchange program that is posible thanks to an agreement between the Asociación Colombiana de Universidades (ASCUN) and the Conference of Rectors and Principals of Quebec Universities (CREPUQ).

Bishop’s University, Université Laval, Polytechnique Montréal and Université de Sherbrook, are some of the institutions included in the PÉÉ agreement based in Quebec, a province in eastern Canada, which is distinguished by having different culture and customs from those of the rest of the country and where the 96% of the inhabitants speak French.

The students of the programs of Social Communication and Journalism, Law, Business, Administration, Philosophy and Mathematics, among others, who wish to apply, must be at least in the fourth semester, be academically up to date and have an excellent average. In addition, they must have a good English or French proficiency (the requirement of one or another language depends on the university to which it is applying), and comply with the additional documents required by the Quebec Institution.

Those interested in applying for 2018-II must do it before March 31 and the registration process must be done through the Office of International Relations (ORI), since the number of students is determined by mutual agreement of the institutions, and requests send individually will not be taken into account by PÉÉ. The results will be published next May 15.

It is important to choose the career at the time of the application because during the period of the exchange any change in the program is not allowed.

The students can live tis international experience in the capital of the region, the homonymous Quebec, recognized by its historical center and by the emblematic Château Frontenac, a hotel located on the top of a hill, visible from the Saint Laurent riverbank, or in Montreal, the most populous metropolis in Quebec, which has countless activities to do and many places to visit. One of them is, for example, the Botanical Garden with gardens and greenhouses that offer their visitors spectacular postcards.

To know more details and fulfill your dream of making an exchange in Canada, the Sergistas can visit the ORI, located on the second floor of the administrative building.
