Griffith University and Sergio Arboleda University, signed a new agreement with the aim to give the opportunity to the members of the Sergista Community to learn or improve their English level in one of the best Australian institutions.

Last September 14th, Sergio Arboleda University and Griffith University, an institution located in Brisbane, Australia, signed a new agreement that gives the possibility to the Sergistas of enrolling in one of the English courses offered at the Griffith English Language Institute (GELI).

This agreement reinforces the cooperation between both universities so, from 2006, more than 45 students of Sergio University have received benefits with the existing agreements of double degrees.

GELI, with more than 27 years of experience, is characterized by its high academic standars and member of English Australia, the national peak organism for the English language sector of international education in Australia. Every year this center receives near 1.000 students of 50 countries who take classes according to their needs and aims, allowing them to reach their professional or academic goals.

This agreement allows Sergistas to have special fees depending on the lenght of the course, so, for a program from one to ten weeks, the weekly fare is 328 Australian dollars, one from 11 to 20 weeks will cost 287 Australian dollars per week, and for those of more than 21 weeks, it will be of 246 AUD.

“This is an excellent opportunity for those students, graduates and administratives who wish to improve their English language proficiency, at the same time that they get inmerged in the culture of one of the most cosmopolitan cities of Australia as it is Brisbane” says Laura Santana, Coordinator of the International Relations Office -ORI- from Sergio Arboleda University.

The agency Latino Australia Education – LAE, which has worked with the University for some time, will provide guidance and information for those who want to apply to this program.
