Until May 10, the call for applications of the International Relations Office– ORI will be open for the students of ‘La Sergio’ who want to do any of the academic programs abroad and thus make the world their classroom during the second semester of 2019.

From February 4 to May 10, the call for applications is open for the students who want to live an academic experience in universities with which Sergio Arboleda University has an agreement, in countries such as Australia, Spain, France, Canada, Argentina, Mexico and United States.

The requirements are different depending on the program to choose. For example, to apply for an exchange it is essential to have a cumulative average of 3.6 or 4.0 for those who wish to study in Mexico; likewise, it is necessary to be in the fourth semester and be academically up to date.

“Those who decide to undertake the adventure of studying abroad have the opportunity to live a very enriching experience from an academic, professional and personal point of view. The fact of immersing in a new culture, of learning to live with different customs and traditions, allows to broaden the worldview and, with certainty, they will return to the country being more tolerant and receptive and with greater disposition”, says Laura Santana, Coordinator of the International Relations Office.

The students of the programs of Social Communication and Journalism, Business Administration, Marketing and International Business, Economics and International Advertising, among others, have the possibility to obtain a double degree in recognized and high level universities such as Griffith University or Queensland University of Technology – QUT, in Australia,or else, at Florida International University – FIU, in the United States. Those interested in applying must be at least in the seventh semester and demonstrate, through an international exam (IELTS or TOEFL), a good English proficiency.
